The Upsurge Project
The Upsurge Project was commisioned by Belfast City Council for Friends of The Field. They are a local community group that has taken control of a plot in Botanic Gardens Queens PEC.
The project was funded by the EU and this is the pilot scheme site. Another four contries are coming over to Belfast in September 2024 to see it and then take this footprint and make the same on their own sites.
